URGENT Pre and Post exposure prophylaxis for Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as HIV, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, and Herpes.
Exposure prophylaxis is used in emergency situations to prevent HIV infection, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and Syphilis after a potential exposure typically within 72 hours.
In June 2024, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) published clinical guidelines for STI prevention in the United States.
Exposure prophylaxis is the first biomedical prevention tool for bacterial STIs that has been shown to be effective and well-tolerated. While it remains an off-label indication, it is inexpensive and has a history of off-label long-term use for other conditions.
Stigma, distrust, or shame may prevent patients from talking about Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as HIV, Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis, and Herpes. Now, you can confidentially consult online without a video and we can call in an oral Exposure prophylaxis medication ( to be taken by mouth) directly into your pharmacy; insurance covers the medication and even without insurance, the medication is affordable. Time is of essence.
When Should You Get Tested for STDs?
Understanding the right time to get tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) is essential to maintaining your sexual health. Even if you feel fine, regular testing helps detect infections early—many STDs don’t show symptoms but can still cause complications if left untreated.
Here are key situations when STD testing is recommended:
• You have symptoms such as unusual discharge, genital sores, pain during urination, or itching in the genital area.
• You’ve had unprotected sex, especially with a new partner or someone whose STD status is unknown.
• You have multiple sexual partners or engage in sexual activities that may increase your risk.
• You’re starting a new sexual relationship or becoming sexually active for the first time.
• You’re pregnant or planning to become pregnant, since some STDs can be passed to the baby during childbirth.
• You’ve been informed that a current or former partner has tested positive for an STD.
Getting tested isn't just about protecting yourself, it’s also about protecting your partners and promoting a culture of sexual health awareness.
We will refer you to quest lab or your nearest lab for one of the following tests. These tests are covered by insurance.

The basic panel screens for four of the most common sexually transmitted diseases; chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV.
STD Extended Screening Panel
Check for 7 sexually transmitted diseases; chlamydia, gonorrhea, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, trichomoniasis, syphilis, and HIV.
Herpes (HSV) 1 & 2
Screen for the presence of HSV transmitted infection that leads to painful sores around the mouth or genitals.
Chlamydia & Gonorrhea
This test checks for the presence of both chlamydia and gonorrhea, two of the most common sexually transmitted diseases.
